Today was our 5th wedding anniversary. We had a very busy day at home with Finley and Nate's parents had offered to come up to Madison and babysit so that we could have an evening out. The plan was dinner and movie however another couple inches of snow kind of interfered. We did have a very nice dinner out at "The Melting Pot". We decided to call it an early night as the roads were not going to get any better as it continued to snow.
To think 5 years ago today we finally had gotten married... ha... I say finally as we had already been together for 6 years!! The last 11 years have been filled with their share of happy, sad, exciting, frustrating and just plain great times. Adding Finley to the mix has only made things more interesting in the best way!! Five years of marriage sure goes by fast...and tonight we just hoped that this deployment would also fly by. Think of it as building character to our marriage and keeping things interesting for the many happy years to come!!
