Finley's 4 Month Checkup

Today Finley had his 4 month well child checkup including vaccinations. We almost didn't make it to the Doctor due to the lovely 10 inches of snow we received overnight and all morning. You just can't be sure of anything in that much snow. Nate managed to clear the driveway and the plow finally came down our street sometime late morning. The appointment was not until 1:45pm and due to the still crappy road conditions we were about 15 minutes late, however most of the other patients at that clinic had canceled their appointments so no big deal! Overall Finley is doing great as we knew. He weighed 14lbs and 10oz and was a bit over 24 inches long (24.8). He is at the 41.82 percentile for weight, 42.27 percentile for height and 40.34 percentile for head circumference. Overall on the small side of average in size but very normal and still showing good growth. We have the go ahead to start solids, well cereal, but are thinking of waiting a bit. He is still maintaining a full tummy on his formula so no need to rush things. He had two of the 4 scheduled vaccines and I will take him back in a couple weeks for the other two. He cried for about 5 seconds after his shots and as soon as I picked him up and he saw himself in a mirror in the room that was it. All forgotten about. Funny little boy.
