Teething Already??

I regret to announce that Finley is teething...already. The books say some kids teeth as early as 3 months. Finley will be 4 months in about a week and teething has started full on now. He has been quite the crab this week at times. Besides the fact that he and I both came down with yet another cold he has just been miserable and biting on everything. He has the classic rosy cheeks and diarrhea too. Last night probably rated pretty high up for one of the worst nights to date. Though he finally went to sleep at 11pm he screamed for about 2 hours proceeding that. Nothing would make him happy unless I walked around with him in the Bjorn and rubbed his gums with my finger. Even through this he still wailed and cried some. My back can only take so much- after all he is in the Bjorn carrier probably up to 6 hours a day. He had a dose of Tylenol that just didn't seem to do the trick. I think if Nate had been home to help me it would have been better however I need to get used to times like this on my own. I hope he cuts all of his teeth in a hurry or gets accustomed to the discomfort (the books say this can happen) because otherwise it's going to be bumpy road...and wet from all the drool? Poor kid.
