I am behind on posts...I know. I keep starting them and not having to time to finish until much later. Nate and I had a very busy weekend getting ready for Christmas. We took Finley to see Santa on Friday night and on Saturday we geared up to go get our Christmas tree. It's our tradition to always go to Hann's Christmas Tree Farm in Oregon WI and cut our own. It's acres and acres of trees to cut plus and nice shop and barn full of pre-cut trees and wreaths etc. Finley rode in his Baby Bjorn with me and Nate handled the saw. Umm I will confess... after walking around countless trees for a half hour we decided Finley wasn't enjoying it anymore and we picked one of the pre-cut trees. You can't win them all I guess.
After stopping at Starbucks for a nice warm latte on the way home we put the tree up. The decorating didn't come however until Sunday. I held back on decorating this Christmas. I am sure everyone can understand how Nate and I are not in the most of Christmas spirits this year. We are not looking forward to what comes after Christmas. All in all the house is festive and we enjoyed our weekend together.
